Graham Engineering Corp.’s American Kuhne brand is boosting production of extruders because of the spike in demand for ventilators used to treat COVID-19 patients. The York, Pa., company said it will validate available inventory, turn around quotes more quickly and expedite deliveries. The company’s extruders produce single-use medical tubing that is needed for the ventilators.
