Names to Know: Graham Engineering picks Larry Alpert as new medical extrusion technology manager

Graham Engineering Corp. has appointed Larry Alpert to the newly created position of medical extrusion technology manager. Graham created this position to expand its commitment to the medical device industry.

Alpert has more than 40 years of experience in the extrusion industry, most recently serving as president of Med1Extrusion LLC, and with other companies, including Adam Spence Corp., Command Medical, Putnam Plastics and Boston Scientific.

His responsibilities will include technical and customer support, product development and system testing.

“Larry brings extensive knowledge of the extrusion sector of the medical device industry,” said Michael Duff, VP of sales and service. “That, combined with his strong leadership capabilities, makes him a valuable resource for our customers in the tubing and related markets.”

Based in York, Pa., Graham Engineering manufactures blow molding and extrusion systems under its Graham Engineering, American Kuhne and Welex brands.
