Davis-Standard launches support service, adds rep

Extrusion equipment maker Davis-Standard, Pawcatuck, Conn., has launched 844-MYDAVIS (844-693-2847), a phone number for customers worldwide who need service support.

“Keeping up with our brand-new standard, we are leading the way in providing solutions to support our customers’ uptime and competitiveness,” said Jim Murphy, president and CEO of Davis- Standard. “The bottom line is, the customer wants to talk to the right person right away.”   

In addition, the company announced that Coastal Plastics Equipment Inc. will act as the sales representative for its pipe, profile, tubing and elastomer machinery lines in New England and upstate New York.

Coastal Plastics Equipment has locations in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
