Dri-Air Industries Inc., East Windsor, Conn., has named Jason Sears president of the company following the death of his father, Charlie Sears, who was the company's founder.

Jason Sears began working at Dri-Air as an after-school job when he was in high school, then joined full-time after he earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Rhode Island in 1992. He has held multiple positions at the dryer manufacturer over the years, most recently serving as VP of operations.
