John Meek becomes president of Branson Ultrasonics

In his new position as
 president of Branson Ultrasonics Corp., Danbury, Conn., John 
Meek will oversee worldwide
 operations for the maker of
 plastic joining equipment. Meek, 
who is succeeding Joseph Dillon
 in the role, has been in a leadership positions with parent company Emerson Electric Co. for
 37 years. He holds a bachelor's degree from the State University
 of New York at Albany and a Master of Business Administration degree from Cornell University.
