Dri-Air increases production space by 50 percent
Auxiliary equipment maker Dri-Air Industries Inc. has expanded its headquarters in East Windsor, Conn., with about 50 percent more space for inventory and manufacturing.
“This will allow us to stock larger hoppers and components for our fastest-growing segment, our large dryer market,” Dri-Air President Jason Sears said.
Molders and extrusion companies use Dri-Air equipment for custom drying and conveying. Sears said that the closed-loop, temperature-based process employed by Dri-Air systems offers substantial electricity consumption savings compared to wheel dryers or other competing systems.
With the new production space and equipment, the company said it will be able to integrate manufacturing of all its dryer parts in a single facility, enabling it to fulfill orders more quickly.
