Jomar's injection blow molding machines have all been upgraded with Allen-Bradley CompactLogix controllers from Rockwell Automation Inc., Milwaukee.

Blow molding machines Jomar's injection blow molding machines have all been upgraded with Allen-Bradley CompactLogix controllers from Rockwell Automation Inc., Milwaukee. In some cases, older machines can be retrofitted with the new controllers.

What's new? Less wiring, along with an automated system to store and recall more data.

Benefits The ability to retain recipes and audit and track parameters, such as pressure, resin temperature and sequencing. Jomar says the controllers have been designed to better facilitate regulatory compliance. Data can be exported easily for storage and reporting, and setups can be loaded, modified and resaved on the fly, greatly reducing changeover times. In addition, the system integrates easily with computer networks already in use in factories.
