Ultimaker brings on Miguel Calvo

Miguel Calvo has been appointed Ultimaker’s new CTO and senior VP for printers and peripherals.

In his new role, Calvo will oversee R&D of all Ultimaker 3-D printers and peripherals, as well as collaborate with industry partners to integrate Ultimaker’s products into their workflows. Prior to joining Ultimaker, Calvo held leadership positions at companies in multiple high-tech sectors, including aerospace, clean power generation and material handling.

Headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands, Ultimaker makes 3-D printers, software and materials.
