Larger printed parts possible in a small footprint

Oct. 12, 2020
The Modix Big-40 builds vertically to allow users to go big without taking up a lot of floor space.

Big-40 This large-format 3-D printer incorporates a suite of hardware and software features that are standard on all new printers from Modix 3D. These include automatic bed leveling, a 7-inch touchscreen controller and the Titan Aero extruder, which offers high-resolution fused-filament-fabrication printing.

What’s new? A small footprint. Modix developed the Big-40 in part to help customers seeking to produce larger parts within a limited floor space.

Benefits Value. Modix uses quality components for its printers and cuts shipping costs by delivering them as unassembled kits that are more compact than a finished printer. The Big-40 comes at a base price of $4,500 and includes a 12-month warranty and lifetime support.
