Filabot EX2 This extruder represents the high-end version of the Filabot Original. Built to melt and respool scrap filament from 3-D printing applications, the extruder works with a wide variety of thermoplastics. Filabot's customers include laboratories that have used the machine for materials testing, as well as recycling. The machine has a throughput of about 2 pounds per hour.

What's new? Numerous upgrades, including improvements to the nozzle and feed screw, and a redesigned base that enables vertical extrusion. Additionally, the machine now features a stainless steel hopper and extended heat zone.

Benefits Material savings, along with the ability to customize materials. With its new feed screw, the extruder can compound as it mixes and melts — an improvement over the lower-priced Filabot Original. Also, it now features plastic rivets that give operators easier access for cleaning and maintenance.
