Xcel Designed for industrial use, Leapfrog's newest fused-deposition modeling printer can be used for rapid prototyping or small, customized runs. The polylactic acid-compatible machine, which carries a price tag of $25,499, has a maximum build volume of 20.9 inches by 19.7 inches by 90.6 inches. It can be controlled by smartphone and features a dual-extrusion system and automatic filament loading.

What's new? The printer, which was introduced in May.

Benefits Fast printing speeds for large parts, with a minimum resolution of 10 microns per layer. To provide higher quality and consistency, the printer is fully enclosed, with a sliding door to allow operators access to their prints.
