Axiom dual-extruder desktop 3D printer Airwolf's newest printer can print prototypes and mold components and has a build volume of 12 inches by 8 inches by 9.5 inches and a minimum layer height of just 40 microns. With two independently controlled extruders and interchangeable nozzles, it can print two materials at once. More than 40 thermoplastic materials, including high-temperature PC, TPU and nylon, can be used with the printer.

What's new? The printer, which was released last month, and its use of two extruder heads. Compared to Airwolf's other printers, the dual-extruder version can print more sophisticated parts. While the one head prints the parts, the second can create a support layer with a different material. It has a print speed of nearly 10 inches per second.

Benefits Ease of use, the ability to print multiple materials and high-definition printing.
