Stratasys' 3-D printer

Objet1000 Plus  This large 3-D printer, which produces horizontal build layers as fine as 16 microns, can handle full-scale prototyping, as well as produce fully packed trays of small parts. It is capable of mixing two materials for jobs in as many as 14 different ratios at once. This means that as many as 14 material properties, such as varying levels of rigidity or flexibility, can be produced in different areas throughout one part.

What's new?  The ultra-large build tray measuring 1,000mm by 800mm by 500mm.

Benefits  Accurate, full-scale printing of large prototypes. The printer can produce items longer than 1 meter and print prototypes on a 1-to-1 scale that will closely mirror the final product and require no assembly. Also, the printer is capable of highly detailed resolution, with accuracy of within 85 microns for features smaller than 50mm and within 600 microns for full-scale reproduction of rigid materials.
