The Beaverton, Mich., Thermoforming Technology Group (TTG) has acquired automation equipment provider Nalle Automation Systems LLC (NAS).

NAS, which manufactures machinery for counting and packaging products such as lids and cups, will continue to operate at its 32,000-square-foot facility in Knoxville, Tenn. TTG is a private equity consortium of plastics machinery companies: Brown Machine, which makes continuous thermoforming and cut-sheet thermoforming equipment; Lyle Industries, which makes roll-fed thermoformers and bottle-trimming equipment; and EPCO, a repair service for plastic injection molding and die casting equipment.
