Dynisco rheometer is low cost, easy to use
ViscoIndicator This online rheometer from Dynisco is designed to be a cost-effective entry point for melt flow sensors, allowing non-experts to perform melt flow index (MFI) tests right on the machine rather than in a laboratory. The ViscoIndicator takes a side stream from the extruder and forces the melt through a metering gear pump, which generates the flow rate and pressure to extrude the polymer through a capillary. The extruded test material simply falls to the floor as scrap.
What's new? The rheometer, which is a new product based on Dynisco's existing ViscoSensor and CMR IV Series technologies.
Benefits Convenience, cost-effectiveness and ease of use. The ViscoIndicator has a small footprint that makes it easy to set up and integrate into machinery, and it saves time and money thanks to its quick-change capillaries and the ability to perform testing right at the extruder without the need for a specially trained technician. It has a Windows 10 Internet of Things (IoT)-based rheological software platform, so it should be familiar, intuitive and easy to understand for most users.
