Rapid Granulator appoints Jon Smalling head of sales for North America

Rapid Granulator, a manufacturer of plastics size reduction and recycling solutions, has named Jon Smalling as head of sales for North America.

Smalling will be based in Atlanta and has extensive experience in the plastics and material handling sectors, including tenures at Conveyors & Drives and Sepro America.

He will lead Rapid Granulator’s sales organization across Canada and the United States, with a focus on expanding market share, strengthening channel partnerships and enhancing customer support.

“Rapid has an incredible foundation- a strong reputation in the market, a first-in-class sales network, and a real opportunity to grow in North America,” Smalling said in a news release. “I’m excited to build on that momentum by strengthening partnerships, supporting our customers at a higher level, and helping drive the next phase of growth for the organization.”

Rapid Granulator is headquartered in Bredåryd, Sweden, with North American offices in Leetsdale, Pa.
