Micro-Epsilon profilometer works at production speed

ScanControl 8500 can handle challenging surfaces, including dark plastics.

ScanControl 8500 Plastics processors can install and use this compact Micro-Epsilon profilometer on their equipment to conduct 2D measurement and contour inspection of 3D plastic parts, extruded profiles or molded components. Using Green Laser technology, the scanner achieves 4K resolution, even on challenging surfaces like shiny metals, dark plastics or mixed materials.

What’s new? The scannner, available since the spring.

Benefits Precise, efficient and reliable, non-contact measurement directly in or near the production process. The scanner helps verify dimensions, edges, gaps, flatness, warpage and surface features at production speed.
