Micro-Epsilon expands sensor series

May 28, 2025
The confocalDT sensors are precise and operate at high speeds.

confocalDT These Micro-Epsilon sensors enable high-precision and fast measurements for both distance and thickness measurements of transparent objects. They are appropriate for a number of applications, including measuring film thickness in plastics processing.

What’s new? New controllers recently added to the series. The Micro-Epsilon portfolio now includes 31 different sensors with 16 measuring ranges from 0.1mm to 30mm. In addition to the standard sensors for high-precision measurement tasks, miniature confocal sensors with axial and radial measurement direction also are available.

Benefits The ability to take precise measurements quickly. Also, the sensors are easy to implement and use, and they and the sensors’ control unit are compact. They are ideal for confined installation spaces, such as drill holes or depressions.
