The 2.5GigE cameras offer resolutions ranging from 1.6 to 24.5 megapixels, balancing performance, size and cost for inspection applications.

Triton2 2.5GigE camera Lucid Vision Labs’ latest offering is the Triton2 2.5GigE camera family, which can be used for inspection applications. The Triton2 cameras use Sony Pregius S global shutter CMOS image sensors, with resolutions ranging from 1.6 megapixels (MP) to 24.5 MP. The cameras support standard CAT5e and CAT6 cables up to about 330 feet long, and are designed to offer seamless integration. All Lucid cameras are supported by Lucid’s own Arena software development kit, which gives customers easy access to the latest industry standards and software technology.

What’s new? Four new Triton2 models: TRT016S, TRT023S, TRT050S and TRT120S. The image sensors in these models include the 1.6 MP Sony IMX273 running at 166 frames per second (fps), the 2.3 MP IMX392 at 116 fps, the 5.0 MP IMX264 at 35 fps, and the 12.3 MP IMX304 at 22 fps.

Benefits Enhanced bandwidth. The 2.5GigE offers data transfer rates of 300 MB per second, but still maintains the benefits of compact size, efficient thermal management and Power over Ethernet support. Lucid says the Triton2 family balances performance, size and cost, and makes it easy for users to upgrade from existing cameras without major back-end system modifications.
