Roemheld cart makes mold changes easier

The all-electric RWA 1000 Elmo lifts, lowers and transports molds up to 2,200 pounds.

RWA 1000 Elmo This Roemheld changing cart can transport injection molds weighing up to about 2,205 pounds. Both the drive system and the lifting function are fully electric; a battery-powered motor moves the cart at speeds of up to 2.5 miles per hour, and the double scissor lift raises the load electro-hydraulically to table heights between about 24 inches and 58.5 inches. The stainless steel roller table accommodates molds measuring up to 39.4 inches by 27.6 inches; with a lateral overhang, dimensions of up to 39.4 inches by 35.4 inches are possible. Molds are secured by adjustable locking bars and side rails, and a safety docking rail ensures the correct insertion height. The changeover table is available in five versions, including models with lowerable rollers or a swiveling bridge.

What’s new? The RWA 1000 Elmo, debuting at Fakuma 2026.

Benefits Safe, all-electric lifting, lowering and transport of molds without physical strain on operators.
