Z.Sonic Turn This new mold from Zahoransky is designed to meet the demand for GLP-1 weight-loss medications, which are delivered by injection. It shortens cycle times with indexing technology that shifts part of the residual cooling away from the mold and makes part removal cycle-neutral, using an integrated rotary unit. The mold can contribute to high-volume production of either reusable and disposable pen injectors and also can be tailor-made for many different medical, industrial and personal care applications. It is compatible with any suitable injection molding machine but pairing it with premium machines, such as Netstal’s Elion Med press, enables optimal performance, Zahoransky says.

What’s new? The mold, which Zahoransky debuted at the K show.

Benefits High speed and maximum precision for the efficient production of pen and autoinjector components. The mold is designed to make good use of space and optimize energy requirements.
