Meltio names AEC as sales, integration partner in U.S. 

Meltio, a maker of metal additive manufacturing systems based in Linares, Spain, has appointed Automation Engineering Company (AEC) of Greer, S.C., as a sales and integration partner for the U.S. market. 

AEC will focus on building a strong industrial ecosystem for Meltio’s technology in the U.S., driving business opportunities in collaboration with technology centers, machine tool builders, robotic integrators, academic institutions and industrial customers, according to a press release. 

Meltio’s 3D printers can be used for making molds and tooling for the plastics industry. 

“Meltio’s wire-laser metal 3D printing system delivers efficiency, flexibility and operational performance in real-world industrial environments. Partnering with AEC ensures we can extend these benefits to more U.S. manufacturers, helping them optimize processes, reduce costs and implement production-ready additive manufacturing solutions across diverse sectors,” said Gabriel Ortiz, Americas channel manager at Meltio.
