Snowbird uses Meltio’s wire-laser metal 3D print head in its newly released, patented Snowbird Additive Mobile Manufacturing Technology platform, which is designed to provide an additive manufacturing system that can be transported and operated within a shipping container for use in tough environments.
“Our goal in expanding our sales partnership of Meltio products is to provide solutions facilitating efficient and accurate additive manufacturing capabilities in the most remote and harshest environments around the world,” said Jeremy Heerdink, Snowbird Technologies’ VP of business development.
Snowbird Technologies will be authorized to conduct site evaluations, installations, setup and training of authorized Meltio products, and said it is committed to providing qualified technical support to end users.
