Low flow indicator Burger and Brown’s Smartflow product line includes an array of electronic and mechanical flowmeters. The company’s new Smartflow low-flow indicator is a mechanical flowmeter that has an optional version with a Delta-Q precision regulator available, which allows for additional flow control, if needed. Either version is suitable for applications such as monitoring injection mold cooling lines with bubblers or baffles. These flowmeters have a maximum operating pressure of 100 pounds per square inch, and operate at a maximum temperature of 210 degrees Fahrenheit.
What’s new? Lower flow rate range. This new indicator operates from 0.08 gallon to 1 gallon per minute, a rate much lower than existing mechanical flow meters.
Benefits Reliable performance. The device shares some of the proven design details and materials of other small mechanical Smartflow flowmeters, such as brass or reinforced nylon threaded connections that are available in sizes 0.25-inch, 0.375-inch and 0.5-inch in NPT or BSPP.
