Mold component supplier Hasco America Inc. has made a new tool available to moldmaking designers via its online portal. The Standard Engineering Tool (SET) allows designers to configure personalized mold structures with just a few clicks, and it has interfaces to work with all conventional CAD systems.
Hasco, Fletcher, N.C., said that SET is available through its online portal, but can be used offline by designers, which is beneficial because computers used for CAD design are often kept unconnected to the internet for security reasons.
