Parts loader allows unattended machining

UMC Auto Parts Loader The Haas Auto Parts Loader (APL) allows for fully automated loading and unloading of parts with Haas’ UMC-500 and UMC-500SS universal machining centers. Parts are arranged on the table in an equally spaced grid pattern, and the operator follows step-by-step instructions to set up the process in minutes. The raw material can be round, hex-shaped or square and vary in size from 1 inch by 1 inch to 6 inches by 6 inches.

What’s new? The APL, which began shipping in October.
