Moldex3D announced that its Material Center has obtained re-certification for ISO 17025, an international standard for testing laboratories. The Material Center can test materials including thermoplastic, thermosets and composites to provide its customers the data they need for successful simulations.

With U.S. headquarters in Farmington Hills, Mich., Moldex3D produces computer-aided engineering software that lets users identify potential problems and optimize new plastic products during the design stage, including lightweighting parts and lowering manufacturing costs.

The company also announced that its database has topped 9,000 materials and continues to grow.
