Denso announces leadership changes

Denso Products and Services Americas has promoted Alex Merlina to senior manager of the Commercial and Industrial Solutions (CIS) unit, responsible for the company’s heat-management, robotics and automatic data-capture departments.  

Merlina, who has more than 25 years of experience with Denso's original equipment manufacturing and aftermarket business operations, previously served as manager of project management.  

Oversight of the CIS unit has been assigned to Senior VP Norihito Tanahashi, who also is responsible for the Original Equipment Sales unit.   

Headquartered in Southfield, Mich., Denso Products and Services Americas provides aftermarket automotive, commercial and industrial products and services.
