The Society of Plastics Engineers’ Automotive Division is seeking nominations for its 52nd annual Automotive Innovation Awards Gala. This year’s event will be Nov. 8 in Livonia, Mich., and the deadline for submitting part nominations is Sept. 8.
Nominations can be made in 10 categories: Aftermarket and Limited Edition/Specialty Vehicles; Body Exterior; Body Interior; Chassis/Hardware, Electric and Autonomous Vehicle Systems; Sustainability; Materials; Powertrain; Process/Assembly/Enabling Technologies; and Safety.
A Hall of Fame award will go to an application that has been in continuous use for 15 years or more and that has made a significant and lasting contribution to the application of plastics in automotive vehicles. Nominations for this award are due by May 31.
