3 BASF employees honored

Chemical manufacturer BASF Corp. announced that three of its manufacturing leaders were among 130 women recognized at The Manufacturing Institute’s 10th annual STEP Ahead Awards. The program focuses attention on women whose careers have exemplified excellence and leadership across all levels of the manufacturing industry.

BASF’s 2022 award winners include: STEP Ahead Honoree Julie Fay, polyurethane systems operations director, North Geismar, La.; STEP Ahead Honoree Elba Lizardi, site director, Seneca, S.C.; and STEP Ahead Emerging Leader Brittany Davis, operations manager, Chattanooga, Tenn.

To date, more than 1,000 women have been recognized as STEP Ahead Award recipients. BASF Corp., the North American affiliate of German firm BASF SE, is headquartered in Florham Park, N.J.
