South Korean robot and cobot manufacturer Doosan Robotics Inc. has established Doosan Robotics Americas to serve as its U.S. headquarters in Plano, Texas. It also named Alex Lee as its North America general manager.
The company has seen great growth, with the U.S. becoming its single largest market.
“The formation of Doosan Robotics Americas will provide a team dedicated to North and South America, which is a source of many existing and potential customers across several vertical markets from automotive to manufacturing,” Lee said.
He joins Doosan after serving most recently as the GM of North America for STXI Motion, a global engineering company that designs and produces motion control and servo systems. He has also held executive roles at Yaskawa America, Bosch Rexroth, Schneider Electric and Accenture.
