
South Korea’s Doosan Robotics announced that it has set a new sales record for its cobots, with 1,000 sold ithin a single year.
The company also highlighted its success raising $33.7 million from Praxis Capital Partners and Korea Investment Partners to expand its export sales and improve its R&D. The company said global sales accounted for 70 percent of its total sales, with increasing demand in North America and Western Europe. The company plans to establish subsidiaries to help meet growing demand in both of those regions.
With headquarters in Suwon-si, South Korea, just outside Seoul, Doosan produces a wide range of collaborative robots and accessories.
