Chief economist Pineda leaves PLASTICS

He served as the organization's expert on economics, statistics and industry research.

The Plastics Industry Association's (PLASTICS) chief economist has left the Washington, D.C.-based lobby organization. 

PLASTICS President Tony Radoszewski confirmed Feb. 17 that Perc Pineda was no longer with the organization.

According to his LinkedIn account, Pineda had spent nearly five years with PLASTICS, serving as its expert on economics, statistics and industry research. Prior to joining the PLASTICS staff, Pineda was senior economist of the Credit Union National Association.

A doctoral graduate of The New School in New York City, he has more than 20 years of experience.
