Safe-T-Vu system warns of crossing traffic

Aug. 26, 2021
Rite-Hite's new safety sensors lets pedestrians know about approaching vehicles in busy facilities.

Safe-T-Vu Rite-Hite’s Safe-T-Vu warning system uses unidirectional microwave sensors to detect approaching traffic to prevent accidents at blind corners or busy intersections within a warehouse or large manufacturing facility. The sensors, which can be mounted at the end of shelf racks, use flashing red LED chevrons to indicate the direction of an approaching hazard.

What’s new? The Safe-T-Vu system.

Benefits Injury and damage prevention. In a busy and/or noisy work environment, the sensors provide another layer of safety for workers and forklift operators. The sensors come with mounting points or can be magnetically mounted directly to racks. The detection zone and sensitivity levels are adjustable. An additional sensor flashes yellow to indicate the unit has been struck by a forklift or other equipment.
