    Lewis Plastics adds sixth Bole press

    Lewis Plastics Co. Inc. recently received its sixth injection molding machine from Bole Machinery Inc., citing customer demand to produce parts requiring a larger-tonnage machine.

    The Addison, Ill.-based custom injection molder ordered a Bole 950 DK Series press with a clamping force of 1,047 tons and a Keba controller. DK Series machines feature servo-controlled hydraulics, and Lewis Plastics will equip its new press with a machine-mounted HYRobotics five-axis robot.

    A unit of China-based Chenglu Group, Bole Machinery’s U.S. headquarters is in Stow, Ohio.
