LRXplus Twin This linear robot from KraussMaffei is the latest in its LRXplus series for injection molding. It is available in two configurations and can handle loads of 77 to 220 pounds. Its multiple kinematic system is designed for efficiency and management of demanding tasks. Mechanically coupled axes enable highly precise parallel movements and flying handovers, reducing cycle times and enabling efficient synchronization of processes. The axes are designed for rigidity, crash resistance and a long service life. The material mix of aluminum and steel prevents deformation even at maximum speed, and resistance to damage in case of a collision. The new smartControl MC7 system enables centralized programming and control of up to four robots with six axes each. A shared coordinate system, a modern HTML5 program editor and tactile hard keys ensure intuitive operation and fast, safe setup.
