Netstal Elion CAP features multiple upgrades
Elion CAP This Netstal line of injection molding machines (IMMs) is tailored for high-performance production of beverage closures.
What’s new? Various upgrades, debuting at Fakuma 2026 on an all-electric Elion 3200 CAP. The optimized geometry of the toggle lever shortens dry cycle times, and the optimized force application ensures greater stiffness of the clamping plate for long service life. The redesigned protective cover can be installed quickly and has smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces. Electric or hydraulic ejectors are available. The optional grease lubrication system automatically lubricates the linear guides of the clamping unit and the injection unit as well as the ejector guide of the clamping unit to reduce maintenance. The new electric injection unit enables fast cycle times, high precision and shot weight consistency, along with energy savings. The Axos 9 controller combines flexibility in application development with safe and intuitive operation, and the integrated Smart Operation feature guides operators through predefined procedures, reducing the risk of errors.
Benefits Shorter cycle times, high process stability and energy efficiency. As the Elion series is modernized, customers will be able to choose between hybrid and all-electric configurations in clamping forces of up to 472 tons.
