FX series The beside-the-press granulators in Cumberland’s recently released FX series are compact and offer greater accessibility than earlier models. They can process a wide variety of items, including blow molded bottles, electrical connectors, sprues and extruded profiles.

What’s new? Numerous upgrades. The granulators come with redundant safety circuits, short-circuit protection and two sets of interlock contacts. They have sound-dampened enclosures and an improved discharge seal.

Benefits Flexibility, safe operation and fewer regrind leaks. The rugged granulators can be equipped with a tangential chamber for handling larger items, or an offset chamber for thicker-walled parts and long profiles. Larger discharge bins allow for longer run times before emptying, and the units’ optional hopper windows let users check the fill level and material flow without shutting down the machine.
