E-Multi Mini Mold-Masters’ E-Multi auxiliary injection units bring multi-shot, multi-material or co-injection capabilities to injection molding machines. The E-Multi line has five models that offer shot sizes ranging from 0.26 ounce to 42 ounces, and the units can handle a range of materials including PCR and bioresins.
What’s new? The E-Multi Mini, which has a shot range of about 0.1 ounce to 0.2 ounce.
Benefits Simple, economical addition of auxiliary injection capabilities. The E-Multi Mini, which weighs about 121 pounds, attaches directly to the mold and can be mounted in almost any orientation, including vertically, horizontally and at an angle. It has a pivoting hopper that can be adjusted left or right to accommodate tight spaces. The E-Multi Mini has a smaller controller cabinet and lightweight pendant interface than larger units, but also offers full process control. Installation is quick and easy.
