Medical device manufacturer Arterex acquires Micromold

Micromold will continue operations within Arterex's Formula Plastics division.

Arterex, a leading medical device developer and contract manufacturer, has acquired Micromold Inc. Micromold has been supplying custom precision micromolded parts to the medical industry since 1984. The company has 20 Boy machines in sizes from 10 to 33 tons in both vertical and horizontal configurations. 

Micromold, formerly located in Riverside, Calif., will continue its 24/7 operations within Arterex’s Formula Plastics division, located in Tecate, Mexico. Micromold will operate its equipment and services in Arterex’s 3,000-square-foot Class 8 certified clean room.
