The Wittmann Group has established Wittmann Vietnam Co. Ltd. in the southern Vietnamese location of Ho Chi Minh City.
“Vietnam is growing rapidly more and more significant as a production location for the injection molding industry,” said Michael Wittmann, owner and CEO of the Wittmann Group. “This [subsidiary] will enable us to serve our local customers there even more effectively and to provide flexible support for the development of new production facilities. With this action, we are further strengthening our customer base in Southeast Asia.”
The plastics industry has shown continuous growth in recent years in Vietnam, and Wittmann has been present in the country with a local agency, Tao Bangkok (Vietnam) Co. Ltd., since 2015. Southern Vietnam is an important center of the industry, and the new subisidiary headquarters is near the airport, making it easy to reach for international customers.
Wittmann has nine subsidiaries and additional agencies, with a strong presence throughout Asia, including in China and the Philippines.
