Wittmann extends venture with Ice-Flex

Wittmann Group has expanded its partnership with Italian firm Ice-Flex, and the name of the joint software supplier formed by the partnership has now been changed to Wittmann Digital srl. The Saronno, Italy-based firm is known for its MES software for injection molding companies (IMMs).

In a press release, Wittmann Group said the move will strengthen its production data gathering, intelligent production planning and monitoring systems.

Originally announced in 2018, Wittmann Group’s partnership with Ice-Flex gave the IMM company access to the TEMI MES package. Since then, Wittmann Digital has developed the TEMI+ MES package, which connects Wittmann Group IMMs, auxiliaries and robots.

Wittmann Digital Managing Directors Giorgio Pigozzo and Marco Pelagatti expressed their pleasure with the development. “As Wittmann Digital, we are presenting ourselves to the public as part of a globally active, well-known group of companies. This will also strengthen our image in the market,” Pigozzo said.
