Tederic adds larger presses to Neo.Ms line
Neo.Ms This Tederic line of servo-hydraulic injection molding machines (IMMs) is designed for multi-material molding. The machines have two opposing injection units as standard, and additional injection units can be added as required. The secondary unit rides behind the moving platen. The machines’ SpinSure-H horizontal rotary table is positioned between the fixed and moving platens. Rotary table movement and positioning are independently controlled, allowing for a range of mold designs and complex applications. The machines can be used to simultaneously mold parts on two conventional molds..
What’s new? Expansion of the line, to eight machines, ranging from 990 tons to 3,057 tons. Also, the machines now come with dedicated hydraulic pistons, developed to provide a boost to the machines’ mold-opening force.
Benefits The ability to produce deep-draw parts. The machines’ additional pistons create greater force, which is required by many of the machines’ users, who have employed the IMMs to create wrap-around lighting products.
