Flexicon chooses leader for new office in Malaysia

Flexicon Corp. has chosen Shien Chong Ong to head its newly opened office in Malaysia. Ong will serve as regional sales manager in the new office, which was opened to handle factory-direct sales and applications engineering services for the Southeast Asia region.

Ong holds a degree in materials science from National Cheng Kung University and since 2013 has gained experience in various technical engineering positions in the steel, plastics and filtration technology industries. His responsibilities will include building relationships with stakeholders at facilities of potential customers.

Headquartered in Bethlehem, Pa., Flexicon designs and manufactures a range of materials handling equipment, including flexible screw conveyors, pneumatic conveying systems and bulk bag fillers.
