Inspection Manager update boasts 3D model workflow

Version 6.0 increases the efficiency and security of the software.
Jan. 12, 2022

Inspection Manager This quality-management software from High QA lets users enter and read inspection results from CMMs, measuring arms and noncontact measuring machines via tablet or PC and store them in a centralized database. The digital system eliminates common human interpretation errors that can be introduced into inspection data. This paperless approach bypasses the search time and potential information silos imposed by hard-copy record systems. It works equally well for measurements of molds and tooling or injection molded parts.

What’s new? Version 6.0. This update includes enhancements such as a new module for 3D model-based definition workflow. This update can extract geometric dimensioning and tolerancing information from 3D native CAD files and then generate 2D drawings and inspection plans.

Benefits Efficiency and safety improvements. Inspection Manager 6.0’s optical character recognition technology captures data directly from large TIFF drawings, and the software also lets users directly reference standard tolerance classes and other specifications. The software now requires strong passwords, and new security options that meet NIST 800-171 standards.
