Kuka unveils its first delta robot

It meets strict hygiene standards with its all-stainless-steel body and IP 67 protection rating against moisture and dust, which makes it easy to clean and disinfect.

Kuka's KR 3 Delta D1200 HM comes with the KR C5 micro controller, which takes up less space and consumes less power than other controllers.

KR 3 Delta D1200 HM This four-axis delta robot from Kuka has an all-stainless-steel body and a 6.6-pound payload. While the KR3 Delta D1200 HM is designed for direct contact with food or medicines, it is a good choice for a wide range of uses, including pick-and place tasks, assembly, palletizing and packaging. It can also be used for kitting functions, where it removes parts moving down a conveyor to fill a tray, for example.
