Epson unveils new IntelliFlex feeders

Feb. 16, 2021
Two new sizes expand portfolio, size range of parts.

IntelliFlex feeders Epson’s parts feeders integrate with its SCARA and six-axis robots, IntelliFlex software and Vision Guide vision systems. The feeders’ trays have directional vibration capabilities, so parts can be spread out and singulated as needed for picking by the robot. Options include LED-backlit trays that can give vision systems a sharper view of parts.

What’s new? IntelliFlex 80 and 380. These new models double the number of feeders in Epson’s IntelliFlex portfolio. The 80 is the smallest in the line and can handle parts ranging in size from 3mm to 15mm. The 380 fits between the existing 240 and 530 models and can handle parts from 15mm to 60mm.

Benefits Simple setup. Epson’s RC+ development software has a point-and-click interface that makes it easy to configure the feeders as needed. The IntelliFlex system is designed to quickly and easily adapt to changes in high-mix, low-volume part feeding.
