AutoScan Inspec This fully automated structured-light 3-D scanner from Shining 3D has a turntable with three-axis motion for multi-angle scanning of small parts. The company says it is useful for such tasks as non-contact measurement, inspection, quality control and reverse engineering. It features a blue light source and dual five-megapixel cameras.

What’s new? The AutoScan Inspec, which is the company’s first industrial desktop scanner.

Benefits Precise, simplified scanning. With a single click, users can perform metrology-grade scanning of molded or 3-D printed parts with accuracy to within 10 microns. Its Ultrascan software has a user-friendly interface and makes it easy to export 3-D data to CAD/CAM systems.
