Sensor kits SmartServices sensor kits from Conair bring cloud-based monitoring to auxiliary equipment that is not outfitted with computer controls. The kits are used to link operating, performance and alarm data to Conair’s SmartServices platform, the company’s cloud-based Industry 4.0 solution for monitoring, managing and analyzing auxiliary equipment. The kits are compatible with Conair’s and competitors’ auxiliaries, such as temperature control units, positive-displacement vacuum-conveying pumps, single- and dual-stage regenerative vacuum pumps, portable loading/conveying systems and desiccant dryers. Each user-installed kit contains the same digital hardware — a SmartServices expansion box that receives sensor inputs via wiring and a SmartServices hub that uses a local network to exchange data with the cloud-based platform. The kits also include fluid-system fittings, sensors and wiring specific to the type of equipment. The sensors monitor conditions such as coolant pressure, temperature, flow rates, vacuum levels and motor vibration.

What’s new? The kits.

Benefits Simplified monitoring and reduced maintenance. The kits allow older auxiliary equipment to easily take advantage of Industry 4.0 capabilities.
