PC-DMIS 2020 R1 This measurement software is standard on CMMs, portable measuring arms, multisensor CMMs and laser trackers systems from Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence. Hexagon regularly updates the software’s service pack of updates, fixes and enhancements to ensure its reliability. It can be downloaded at HexagonMI.com or through Universal Updater.
What’s new? This update, the first of two planned for 2020. It brings a slate of new features to the software, including the Grid Mesh feature, which can show a portable arm operator which areas require more scan coverage.
Benefits Improved features. A new “Supervisor role” has been added to the existing Protect feature; it allows companies to restrict who can certify or reject measurement routine changes made by a programmer. The Home Page feature has been improved by adding example measurement routines and best-practice templates.
